What are we counting down??? My hubby will officially have his Masters in Accounting! He has worked so hard, dedicated so much time, missed out on events with family and friends and I even lived the single life every now and then!!! But don’t worry he is not stopping here, next stop CPA! Oh how those 3 little letters will play such a big role in his (our) life and I will be right here cheering him on!
Vin’s birthday celebration was spent in the mountains! It was a perfect place to unwind and have a couple days to ourselves! If you ever get a chance to get to Gatlinburg/Pigeon forge, GO!!
When we go away, we always try to do one thing that we do not have in Charlotte. So we visited one of Dolly Parton’s Stampede and enjoyed dinner and a show! YEEEHAWWW!
Now a little talk from the kitchen! If you use spray from the can PLEASE read the ingredients. Most of those aerosol sprays are extremely bad for you. I found this 2-pack at Costco and so pleased with it. You want PROPELLANT-FREE, so important.
And because it wouldn’t be a blog without the food! Honestly I have no real recipes to go along with these meals!! I told you before, not everything I cook is gourmet. I will say this. . . if you eat kale, make sure you massage it for at least 3-5 minutes with olive oil and Himalayan salt. I do this at the beginning of the week and throw it in the fridge and I have it ready to go for the week!
Happy Hump Day!!!! Enjoy the rest of your week! And like always, be humble and kind.
